*The library closes to students when the fire code maximum occupancy numbers are reached.
The fine for returning a book late to the library is 10 cents per school day. The library aide will work with students with overdue books and/or fines in order to provide access to library books and to also address students’ library obligations, which must be met.
Students must have a signed library pass (hot pink) from their teachers when visiting the library during class time and have a specified instructional need for coming to the library.
GUIDELINES FOR USING LIBRARY COMPUTERS
Students must have a signed AUP form on file in the library in order to use the Internet. Students must show their Dana MS I.D. card with the Internet permission sticker on the back. When a student loses his/her I.D. card the card must be replaced immediately by purchasing a new card in the Library for $2.00 during nutrition or lunch.
